This is one of my favorite restaurants for pho. I always order to-go, there's just something wonderful about eating pho on my couch while relaxing. Back to the food: the broth is good and the portion size is CRAZY big. A large will give me two good sized meals. They give the largest amount of raw beef than any other Vietnamese restaurant I've tried. I've never had a bad experience and plan to be a regular. So so so good.

I've been needing to write my pho reviews for a long time now. I am an avid pho fan and have it every other week or so. I wish I could combine a few of the shops in the city together to make the mother of all bowls of soup, but alas, we have to eat them as is (which is still damn delicious). The staff here are so friendly, and that makes coming here very enjoyable. Pros - super friendly staff, fast service, great Vietnamese coffee, takes credit/debit cards, nice, clean restaurant Cons - not a con really, but nothing stands out about this pho, it's just a good, solid bowl of soup, which seems negative but isn't

After a fantastic foodie trip to Vietnam, I had been craving a bowl of bun cha (pork with rice noodles and stuff) and this place did not disappoint! And bonus- Vietnamese coffee! Was not expecting that but hurray! I'm not a pho type of girl but they had plenty of other items on the menu- another win. The food was great, exactly what I was craving- totally hit the spot. The service was very friendly and I had a lovely late lunch. The price was surprising- seriously? 13 bucks for Bun cha and a Vietnamese coffee? Shut up and take my money. Thank you Pho Van, for a yummy Vietnamese lunch and being a restaurant (not a food truck, which was my first thought- pho "van", am I right) This review is why one should not indulge in Vietnamese coffee and yelp at the same time- whoo-hoo!

Really fantastic Vietnamese food. Very fresh ingredients. The egg rolls that come with the combos are on point. Good for a meal with friends or a quick to go. I really like their combo plates because it's a ton of food but is still a lighter meal. I will also recommend the Vietnamese iced coffee. Very good. The thing that makes this special is the staff and owners are really friendly. The restaurant is very clean, and the owner told us they cook their meats as they are ordered, apparently that is not common in similar restaurants. You can taste the difference. Great restaurant.

I love that there's finally a good pho place right by work! Service is always friendly and the place is much more updated and modern than the older pho places, but the pho is still traditional and good. I've had vermicelli noodles here, as well as bun bo hue (spicy beef soup), and of course the pho. I appreciate that they're not skimpy on noodles and meat. The to go orders are packaged well and are perfect for those nights I don't want to cook.

The pho was amazing and the broth was very good. This was our first time here and we will definitely come back. The reason I give It only 4 stars is because my Thai tea was good but you don't have the option of tapioca pearls and it tasted like can Thai tea. I still loved my Thai tea but other places have better drink options. The staff are very friendly and always make us feel welcome!

Good Pho. I am actually surprised to find such a good pho in OKC.

New place. I hope they make it. All the soups are really good . As a matter of fact I have been here 4 times in the last 10 days , business travel, and each time with new people. Everyone has liked each dish. Food is always made from scratch and fresh right when you order. You can see the cool working. Seems like a family trying to make the business work.

Very good pho. And they have smoothies! Didn't like the beef balls much, but it's the first time I've tried them so they may be that way everywhere and I just don't have a taste for them. Will definitely come back again. Waitress is a doll--super sweet!

One of my pho eating buddies told me that a new pho restaurant had opened where the old Split-T was once located. I was actually on my way to Pho Lien Hoa when I remembered and thought I'd give it a try. I'm really glad I did. It was excellent! I ordered my usual sliced rare beef pho (P2 at Pho Van) and an order of shrimp spring rolls. The pho was served with all the usual side-items, and all of them were very fresh and served in abundance. They didn't skimp on the beef either. All the flavors were extremely well balanced. My friend ordered the vermicelli with grilled pork and reported it was also very good. The place appears clean and the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. If I had any complaint at all, (and it is minor), it was that most of the ice in my iced tea had melted before it was first served. Although we dealt with five different people (seated by #1, #2 took our drink order, #3 our food order, #4 delivered the pho add-ons and #5 delivered the entrees), all were friendly and courteous. I'll be back. Probably again and again.

This place is the best. Quality of food is phenomenal, service is always a 10 and it's CLEAN unlike the other local pho houses that are a little sketch. This is the only place we go to for pho now. Love it!

We enjoyed our first visit today. Clean restaurant, excellent wait staff, and the food was outstanding. We had pork spring rolls, egg roll and grilled chicken vermicelli and tofu/veg Pho. I am a lover of Pho and this restaurant has the best in town! Please give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

As an avid pho lover who eats pho at least twice a week, I decided to try this place on my lunch break since it so close to my work place! Pros: I definitely love the atmosphere of this pho restaurant. It doesn't feel cramped as some of the places in Asian District, so that's a definite plus. Also, you don't walk out smelling like pho as well! The staff are very friendly and are always walking around with a smile, and they're willing to come to your service at anytime. Cons: Personally, I thought the broth was rather bland in comparison to Pho Cuong and VII Asian Bistro in Asian District. However, overall, I would definitely rank this place in the top 5 for pho in OKC! That being said, I'm very very picky when it comes to the broth of pho. So don't let my judgement change your decision in trying it! Overall: Pho Van is definitely a place to try out at least! As far as I know, it's the only pho restaurant near the Chesapeake Campus! I'll definitely be coming back here for lunch more often after my first experience here! :)

I ordered the pho for lunch. The broth was tasty and it was a fair portion of meat. They offer 3 different sized portions for their soups. The service was good, I never had to flag the waitress down. Would eat here again.

Everything Was great from the spring rolls (shrimp and chicken), the pho mix, Thai tea, passion fruit green tea and strawberry smoothie...the service was excellent! Very attentive and sweet waitresses!

Friendly staff great food and very inexpensive. And it's clean. Def one of the better Vietnamese places in town. And I'm Vietnamese so I'm pretty familiar with the cuisine. Wish they had banh mi tho

it's totally fine and it really came in handy when we had our weird fall day in the middle of summer--but I would say if you are in this area you can make the drive to the Asian District. but again--it's totally fine

Nice new pho restaurant on the Western corridor. Not the best in the city, but it's a nice big restaurant and isn't terribly crowded on a Friday lunch. I ordered the chicken pho - It's the standard fare with cilantro, onions, rice noodles. Some pho restaurants will throw in some quail eggs which is always delicious. I forgot to ask here, but it would be a little extra. The shrimp spring rolls were good - served with peanut sauce. Made with lettuce instead of Thai basil, but still good. Pros: The lady who served me was very kind. Everything came out quickly, which is normal for pho. They put whole green onions in which I really enjoyed. Cons: During the daytime, the ambiance is fine with the light from the windows. There are led bulbs hanging from the ceiling - I imagine would be pretty terrible at night. There is also a staticky radio playing music. But I appreciate the idea. Edit: It's not always staticky, just when someone walks by. Overall: Friendly little place. It helped my pho fix without having to drive down to 23rd. I'll be a regular!

I'm a pho lover and I'm a fan of Pho Van. I eat pho probably twice a week and frequent a few other local places. At first Pho Van's pho (I ordered rare beef as I usually do, sometimes with meatballs) seemed slightly, and I mean very slightly watered down as compared to the other places I go to. It grew on me though, and it was definitely competitive! What i loved about this place was the super nice and dedicated staff, the cleanliness (of course they are new so I hope they keep it that way) and the lack of screaming tables! It was calm, quiet, relaxing, unlike a few of the other places that have very good food, but sometimes the crowd at those places can be quite overwhelming. Anyways, I would like to try the vermicelli dishes as well and fried spring rolls next time!

You can actually taste how clean the water is for the broth. I've had pho all over the city and this place is the cleanest and most obviously uses the freshest of ingredients. I don't usually rave about pho, but this place is seriously the best. This is where the other Pho restaurant owners go eat!

Great Pho (I got rare beef and well done combo), great shrimp spring rolls. The sauces may be a little on the generic side, but still good. I'll definitely go back.

I ate dinner here for the first time during their grand opening. It is conveniently located with good parking. The inner space is nicely appointed and the staff was very nice. I came for the pho, of course, and it was excellent. Beef stock was tasty and you can choose from preset combinations or choose your own. I had flank, rare steak, and brisket. My wife had tendon. There was a good quantity of meat which was tasty with the usual sides. Our son had the egg rolls which he enjoyed as well. All in all a quite satisfying meal at a more than reasonable price, we will certainly plan to come back again and again.

Great pho for this side of OKC. We've been needing it. My new spot if I'm feeling lazy and don't want to drive down to Asian District or Uptown. . Great price, consistent and portion size is awesome.

Small place with nice atmosphere and great food. Service was good and worth a hour drive. Conveniently located next to Whole Foods which makes it very enticing when I going to the store.

I love this place and probably eat pho here once a week! It is consistently good, the ingredients are fresh, and they have plenty of vegetables for the vegetarian pho which is not the case with many other places I've tried. Plus the broth is not oily, which I've also experienced at other places. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. I deducted one star because I have a big pet peeve about TVs on in restaurants- but don't get me wrong-the food is great. I won't eat pho anywhere else.

I got a Vietnamese noodle bowl, so I can't speak to the pho here. The meat was way over seasoned, so much so that I picked some of it out and tried to dilute it in the sauce a bit. The rest of the noodle bowl was solidly okay. Not sure I'd seek this place out, but I don't regret going here.

We just heard about this place opening and decided to try it out. It was great. Highly recommend. Go try it. Pros: Great location. They accept credit cards. Ample parking. Clean interior. Attentive and friendly waitstaff. Our food was brought out to us very quickly after ordering which was great. Good value. Tried the pho dac biet and it was excellent. A fair contender against Pho Lien Hoa and the rest of the Classen pho restaurants. I ordered a small bowl and was happy to find that there was plenty of meat and noodles. They don't skimp here. The broth was flavorful and the trimmings (limes, jalepenos, sprouts, and thai basil) were very fresh. Although we didn't try them, they do serve other food options such as fried rice, korean bbq rice plate, vermicelli noodle bowls, etc. which looked appetizing. Cons: Not many cons here, there is a lot of good going on here and it's hard to think of any negatives. I only have one small complaint about this place - the fountain drinks are a little expensive. My Dr. Pepper was $1.79 which seems a bit steep. In their defense, it is unlimited refills. I guess depending on how much soda you drink it might work out to a good value. So either come thirsty and get a last refill in a to-go styrofoam cup as you leave to maximize your value or stick to water. Overall: This place is a great pho option and we will be coming back. =)

This weather is weird. Pho in July? Unlikely, but true. Upon realizing I was headed straight into a traffic jam due to Western being down to one lane, I swiftly pointed my car the other direction and squealed into Pho Van for take out. Trust me, it was a cool maneuver. The lovely young lady working took my to go order, an extra large Pho Tai - (rice noodle with rare steak) for $7.99, and an order of shrimp spring rolls (2 for $2.99). It took about 5 minutes for my order to be ready; pretty impressive. Meanwhile, I had a water in the clean, bright shop and watched the rain and the traffic from the counter seating. I love a place that has nice counter seating for when you're eating by yourself. The food was perfectly packed, a trick when you're dealing with searing hot broth that is also the basis of your meal - you really need it to stay in the container. With the spring rolls, it was enough for two, though just barely. If I had been hungrier, I might have ordered a vermicelli bowl as well. The pho was tasty, although perhaps not as flavorful in the broth department as some (and maybe you lose a little of that in take out, so that may be my fault). The spring rolls were delicious! Overall, a very solid four stars and a great take away option when I have Western Ave meetings or events before heading home for the night.

The spring rolls and the meatball Phô were very good as was the service. I am looking forward to my next trip there. Lots of selection on the menu.

While off the beaten path for pho, Pho Van delivers. The pork dumplings, Thai tea, avocado smoothie, and rare beef pho are all worth a try. There are some other soups and appetizers on the menu that aren't served at other pho restaurants. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is comfortable, and they accept credit cards. Wonderful!

I dig this little place. It isn't horribly busy and the staff are friendly and quick. Food is good. And of course very plentiful. If you're not in the Asian District this dive will work just fine.

I ate here twice. Once for pho and once for Bun Bo. Pretty sure it's not coincidence that both times my stomach aches and I had the runs. The waitress look like she was too young to be working. She didn't ask how we wanted the bill. Fiancé and I received two split bills and when asked for it combined, she said she doesn't know how so we ended up paying two separate transactions with the same card. I had to canceled my boba teas order placed at check out because I didn't want to swipe a third time! So ridiculous!

Very flavorful and aromatic pho. Great wait staff, fast prompt, and POLITE. The meat is always tender, and cooked to perfection. The base in the Pho is always flavorful and requires NO salt, pepper, or Anything added to it. It's perfect just the way it is! The P1(meat combo) and the R1(short ribs) are two of my personal favorites. The restaurant is in a great area, and is just the best pho in the area!

This place has the best pho in edmond and okc. I live in NW Edmond and go out my way on a weekly basis to eat here. The broth is really flavorful and you get a lot more in the soup than in other places, onions, scallions, etc. To go orders are just as good as dining in. They also have crab rangoons! Not all places do. And bubble tea. Like, real bubble tea. Not the americanized version. Soooo delicious. It's worth the drive if you're debating between one that's a couple miles closer.

  • Daniel T.

I really wanted to enjoy this place since it was outside of the Asian district. But after going twice, the pho just does not compare to the other top Pho places in the Asian District. The soup is just not cutting it for me. Tastes like a lot of fish sauce and other flavorings were added and it just doesn't taste that great. Very clean place and great service though. The workers here are SUPER nice, which pains me to write this review. Maybe this place will suffice for the Nichols Hills crowd, but any yelper would rather much enjoy Pho Lien Hoa or the other several good pho places in the Asian district.
